Dynamic Map is Getting an Update – What You as a Beta Customer Need to Know

We’re excited to announce the release of Dynamic Map 1.0, packed with powerful new features for your Webflow projects. Here’s what this means for you.

All implemented Beta Maps are now classified as Legacy Maps. Legacy Maps will continue to work and receive support, so no action is required on your side.

What’s New to Dynamic Map Version 1.0?

• New and advanced features like Custom Zoom Start Position and Disabled Scroll on Mobile (more features coming soon).
• Enjoy an improved Webflow integration and management experience with the all new Dynamic Map App.

What’s Happening to Legacy Maps?

• Legacy Maps will still function normally, but they won’t receive any new features or improvements going forward. ****Upgrading ensures continued support and access to all future updates.

Do You Need to Migrate?

• No action needed if your map is running smoothly, and you don’t need Dynamic Map's new features.
• Consider migrating if you want access to new features in Dynamic Map 1.0 or if you haven’t completed implementing your Map yet.

Why Can’t Legacy Maps Access New Features?

To bring you the enhanced functionality of Dynamic Map 1.0 using Webflow's new API, we had to make significant updates to how the system works behind the scenes. That makes it impossible to add new features for both Legacy Maps and Version 1.0 Maps at the same time.

This change allows us to provide you with a smoother experience, new features, and better scalability moving forward for the next years of Dynamic Map.

Transition Guide

1 – Delete No Code Flow Head Code [only for maps implemented before February 2024]

Locate and remove the custom No Code Flow code from the settings in your Webflow project, as shown in the screenshot below.
