1. Open your Gumroad purchase confirmation email

After buying Codeflow, Gumroad automatically sends you an email with the subject “You bought [Product Name]” or “Your purchase from Gumroad”.

2. Click the “View content” or “View product” button

This opens your purchase page on Gumroad.

3. Log in or create a Gumroad account (if needed)

If you haven’t set up a Gumroad account yet, you can create one using the same email address you used for the purchase. Gumroad will automatically link your order.

4. Download your invoice

On the purchase page, scroll down and click “Download invoice”. Gumroad will generate a PDF invoice you can save.

If you can’t find the email, just let us know — we’re happy to resend your purchase confirmation!

VAT Information in Gumroad

You need to manually enter the VAT number (or any VAT details) into the “Additional Information” text field on the invoice page, because Gumroad unfortunately does not add VAT information automatically. You can find their official explanation in this article.

E.g. for clients in Austria to the 190 dollars for the subscription, an additional 38 dollars are added because Gumroad handles the entire VAT processing for us.

So you would need to add the VAT amount manually via the Gumroad invoice link. For example:

“This invoice includes 38 dollars of VAT in Austria.”
