Set Up Custom Pins

<aside> 💡 Pro Tip: Use category pins if you want different categories to have distinct styles

They offer greater design flexibility—like hover and active states—and are easier to update, so we recommend trying them out before using custom pins.

Create different pin types for different categories using category pins

Add image element to map item collection list

Create + upload custom icon

1. Select your desired icon
2. Resize the icon to fit your design
3. Export as svg

Then, upload your custom icon to the appropriate collection list item in Webflow.

<aside> ⚠️ Keep in mind that your custom icon’s size can’t be adjusted in Webflow. Custom pins don’t support hover or active states.
